ECO FASHION FAIRFAX FESTIVAL 2009

 

This special event was Youth Making a difference first time eco fashion show. This group of girls will be strutting their designs on the runway made from sustainable fabrics and trims. Repurposing vintage and used clothing. They have been working together as a group for months focusing on how they can make amazing clothing while supporting our environment. The creativity has been explosive and exciting. Learning about sustainable design, thrifting, plant dyes, screen printing, cutting up and sewing together. Building friendships and knowledge in a relaxed environment. All done thoughtfully using hand stitch and the sewing machine. Please come to the best summer festival in Marin. Come enjoy the most sustainable town in the world and lets celebrate with the best of them.
